We’re currently hiring for three roles.
These are exciting times for SOIF as we continue to grow and broaden our impact. We’re looking for brilliant, values-driven people to join us on our mission to create positive social change through applied foresight.
1. Operations Manager
We are looking for a sharp, proactive, detail-loving Operations Manager who can help us build a new kind of 21st century organisation. As a small but fast-growing start up, our operations are becoming more complex and distributed. We now need to invest in improving HR, finance and information systems to support project, operations, and leadership teams. There’s a chance to help us scale and shape the business – and be part of an exciting future.
2. Network Weaver
For the past two years we have been nurturing a group of inspirational foresight innovators through our Next Generation Foresight Practitioners Award. We are now seeking to scale the award and the emerging network. We have ambitious plans for both the award and the network and we are seeking a proactive, strategic Network Weaver to lead the endeavour.
3. Social Media and Web Lead
We are looking for a proactive, Social Media and Web Lead who can help us craft content for our social media and online channels and expand our reach internationally. Our client base is global and spans across governments, NGOs, philanthropic organisations, and the private sector. Your role will support a range of communications throughout the year, including regular organisational communications, and specific projects such as our annual foresight retreat and the Next Generation Foresight Practitioners (NGFP) award.

Open opportunity – foresight researchers and facilitators
From time-to time we need an extra pair of hands to support us as researchers and facilitators on our project work.
If you are an enthusiastic researcher with good experience of designing and facilitating foresight projects, we would love to hear from you. We work on lots of different topics and welcome working with colleagues with different interests, expertise and experience.
We are a diffuse and virtual organisation working internationally, so if you are able to work remotely with scope to define your hours then we’d love to hear from you.
